Use of Zinc Oxide in LA CLINICA FOR SKIN AND BODY Products

LA CLINICA FOR SKIN AND BODY hereby confirms that the zinc oxide present in our products is not a manufactured nanoparticulate product. The zinc oxide particles contained in LA CLINICA FOR SKIN AND BODY products have an average particle size of several microns and are not manufactured by the agglomeration of primary zinc oxide nanoparticles.

Figure 1 and 2 show a scanning electron microscopy (SEM) image and particle size distribution curve respectively of typical zinc oxide particles that are used in LA CLINICA FOR SKIN AND BODY products.

The zinc oxide used in LA CLINICA FOR SKIN AND BODY products is 50wt % transparent zinc oxide dispersed in Caprylic Capric Triglyceride.
