Use it as a part of a double-cleansing routine, or to remove stubborn makeup and SPF, our Cleansing Oil is specifically crafted to nourish and replenish the skin barrier, never stripping nor congesting the skin.
If you have oily or acne-prone skin, the concept of slathering on any oil-based products like cleansing oils probably doesn't make much sense. But, promise there's some logic here.
Plant-derived oils such as those that are used in the Beautiful Skin Cleansing Oil won't clog pores, in fact oil attracts oil so it will help regulate sebum and add hydration where it is needed. Oily skin needs hydration too!
The first cleanse should be with an oil-based product, à la the Cleansing Oil, as this dislodges and removes SPF, makeup and sebum. The second cleanse should be water-based (your favourite gel wash or cream cleanser) and this is what cleans your face.
This process efficiently removes impurities that could be detrimental to your skin; pollution, dirt, dead skin cells, sunscreen, makeup, sweat. This not only makes your skin look dull and congested, but can lead to blocked pores, breakouts and your skincare being less effective, as you need clean skin to allow the active ingredients in your products to penetrate properly.
